The Knight's Armament Company (KAC) KS series includes options for four primary barrel lengths: 11.5\", 13.7\", 14.5\", and 16\", and is chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO. The series features dimpled, heavy-profile barrels for heat resistance and the proprietary URX 6 handguard. Key design elements include ambidextrous controls, an enhanced QD sling point end plate, and intermediate-length gas systems for the 13.7\" and 14.5\" barrels.

Suppression
  • The KS series is designed for optimized use with Knight's Armament Company (KAC) suppressors. KAC's suppressors, such as the QDC and QDSS NT4 lines, are developed concurrently with the host rifles for consistent performance in both suppressed and unsuppressed conditions.
